 We are looking for a prospect Quality Assurance Engineer with skills and education either in software development or in software testing.
 QA Engineer is heavily involved in the entire software product development lifecycle. From requirements verification through the system, acceptance and performance testing to troubleshooting in production environment, QA Engineer works with Product, Development and Systems Teams located in OpenX world-wide offices.



  In this role you will need:

  • Experience with web-based technologies
  • Appreciation of testing best practices
  • Good knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language
  • Understanding of full software development life cycle
  • Analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • University degree in Computing Science or related fields


  Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of automated web testing frameworks, ideally Canoo WebTest
  • Experience of load testing tools, e.g.  JMeter
  • Experience of web developer tools, e.g. Firebug/IE Developer Toolbar, TamperData/Fiddler
  • Basic knowledge of Apache HTTP Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL and PHP configuration and usage
  • Ability to work on a chosen Linux distribution
  • Knowledge of PHP and/or Java
  • Experience of online advertising industry
  • Experience of working with Agile project methodology, ideally Scrum
